The Workforce Development Initiative Year-One Report highlights the work of Western Governors to bridge the skills gap between workers and employers in the West. The first year of Initiative workshops and webinars focused on how to create enhanced opportunities for students, graduates and displaced workers to help build a more vibrant regional economy.
The report released on June 25, 2018 presents six findings that include recommendations that Governors might take. They include:
