In correspondence with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the Western Governors' Association submitted input regarding western states' critical role in building electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. The letter of August 22, signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury, highlighted WGA policy resolutions relevant to the Administration's proposed rule on the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program Minimum Standards. "The West possesses unique characteristics that pose many challenges that a one-size-fits-all approach cannot address," the letter read.
