In correspondence with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Western Governors' Association provided comments regarding the proposed Clean Water Act's Water Quality Certification Improvement Rule. The letter of August 8, signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury, expressed appreciation for the Agency's efforts to incorporate state concerns into the proposed rule and included WGA policy resolutions that outline Governors’ recommendations.
