WGA calls for voluntary and locally-led efforts to conserve wildlife migration corridors, habitat, and species populations

In correspondence with the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife and Fisheries, the Western Governors’ Association (WGA) submitted policy recommendations following its September 10 Legislative Hearing, which included testimony on H.R. 8836, the Wildlife Movement Through Partnerships Act. The letter, signed by WGA Executive Director Jack Waldorf, recommended, “supporting voluntary and locally-led conservation activities to conserve wildlife migration corridors, habitat, and species populations.” Read the full correspondence for further details.
