The Western Governors’ Association on Sept. 15, 2020 shared policy work of the Governors related to wildfire, forest, and rangeland management for a legislative hearing of the Senate's Subcommittee on Public Lands, Forests, and Mining. The outreach signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury for the Sept. 16 hearing, which included discussion of The Emergency Wildfire and Public Safety Act of 2020, included the WGA Policy Resolution, National Forest and Rangeland Management, and the Special Report for the National Forest and Rangeland Management Initiative.
