The Western Governors’ Association shared comments with the Federal Geographic Data Committee on its draft National Spatial Data Infrastructure Strategic Plan 2021-2024. WGA submitted two policy resolutions: Strengthening the State-Federal Relationship, and State, Wildlife Science, Data and Analysis. The outreach of Sept. 16, 2020 signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury "strongly" urged the Committee to "engage in early, meaningful, substantive and ongoing consultation with states in advance of any decisions."
