Healthy, vibrant, and prosperous rural communities are critical to the overall economic health of western states, supporting the food supply, stewarding natural resources, and welcoming tourists from across the globe. Rural communities, however, face a variety of challenges on economic development opportunities, infrastructure deployment, and quality of life. This resolution details policies and recommendations to strengthen rural communities and businesses and ensure that state and federal programs are accessible to rural communities.
