The Western Governors' Association hosted the webinar, An All Lands Approach to Grazing Management as part of the series for the National Forest and Rangeland Management Initiative.
The webinar examined a cross-boundary effort for cooperative grazing management between a variety of federal and state agencies in Idaho. Their efforts seek to achieve a more flexible management system across ownership boundaries to better respond to various rangeland challenges. The webinar also explored the potential for using grazing as a management tool for invasive weeds management, fuels reduction, and habitat improvement.
The webinar was moderated by Curtis Elke, State Conservationist for Idaho, USDA-Natural Resource Conservation Service.
