WGA shares Governors’ policy on public lands grazing for House subcommittee hearing

The Western Governors’ Association has submitted materials that express the policy positions of western governors on the issue of public lands grazing.

The materials submitted for the July 12, 2018 hearing “The Essential Role of Livestock Grazing on Federal Lands and its Importance to Rural America” include WGA Policy Resolution 2018-02, Public Lands Grazing, and the Western Governors’ National Forest and Rangeland Management Initiative July 2017 Special Report.

“I request that you include these documents in the permanent record of the hearing, as they articulate Western Governors’ policy positions and recommendations on this important issue,” wrote WGA Executive Director James D. Ogsbury to Chairman Tom McClintock and Ranking Member Colleen Hanabusa.
