The Western Governors’ Association held its 2020 Winter Meeting on Dec. 10, with 12 Western Governors participating in the virtual meeting hosted by WGA Chair and Oregon Gov. Kate Brown. The meeting also included special guest Dr. Sanjeev Arora, the founder of Project Echo, who had a conversation with New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon about the “tele-mentoring” program he founded in 2003 to help hepatitis C patients in New Mexico.
The Governors learned from Dr. Arora how Project Echo has since become a global program for hundreds of thousands of patients with a variety of medical conditions, as well as its work in pandemic response. Watch the session below or on YouTube.
