WGA supports federal efforts to deploy resources, leverage funding, and streamline application processes for rural businesses

In correspondence with the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the Western Governors Association (WGA) submitted policy recommendations for the Committee’s hearing, Streamlining and Coordinating Support for Rural Small Businesses. The September 17 letter, signed by WGA executive director Jack Waldorf, reads, “the Governors support efforts at the federal level to coordinate the deployment of resources, leverage funding, and create streamlined one-stop application processes for rural businesses.” Read the full correspondence for further details.
