WGA shares Governors’ policy on high-speed internet for rural communities, addresses broadband infrastructure

The Western Governors' Association has emphasized the importance of high-speed internet for rural communities and highlighted infrastructure challenges complicating broadband deployment in the West in outreach to leadership of the House Committee on Agriculture. The letter of April 21, 2021, signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury, shared the WGA Policy Resolution, Broadband Connectivity, along with the Governors' recommendation for improvements in broadband data and mapping and investments in scalable infrastructure.
