Career: Consultant with McKinsey & Company; provided seed capital for accounting software company Great Plains Software in Fargo, North Dakota, led a company buyout; sold Great Plains Software to Microsoft, where he subsequently worked as Senior Vice President of Microsoft Business Solutions Group.
