WGA submits Western Governors’ bipartisan policy recommendations to House Agriculture Subcommittee on Commodity Markets, Digital Assets, and Rural Development
In correspondence with the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Commodity Markets, Digital Assets, and Rural Development, WGA submitted policy recommendations in light of the Subcommittee’s hearing, USDA’s Rural Development: Delivering Vital Programs and Services to Rural America. The letter, signed on September 22 by WGA Executive Director Jack Waldorf, contains Western Governors’ bipartisan policy resolutions related to rural development, broadband connectivity, water quality, and energy. “The resolutions contain Western Governors’ recommendations for improving U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development program delivery and highlight specific rural development programs that are important to western communities,” reads the letter.
