In correspondence with the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, WGA submitted bipartisan policy recommendations in light of the Committee’s recent hearing on registered apprenticeships and the workforce. The November 5 letter, signed by WGA Executive Director Jack Waldorf, shared Western Governors’ bipartisan policy resolution on workforce development. “The resolution affirms Western Governors’ support for registered apprenticeships and includes recommendations to support the expansion of these programs,” reads the letter.
