WGA shares Western Governors’ policies on air quality impacts of wildfires before House hearing

The Western Governors’ Association shared Western Governors’ policies on air quality and regulation in the West in advance of the House hearing, “Air Quality Impacts of Wildfires: Mitigation and Management Strategies.”

The Sept. 10, 2018 outreach to the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Environment leadership includes WGA Policy Resolution 2018-05, Air Quality and Methane Emissions Regulation, The Western Governors’ National Forest and Rangeland Management Initiative June 2017  Special Report and a Feb. 2018 letter from Western Governors to the Environmental Protection Agency.

“Western Governors appreciate your attention to the significant effects wildfire has on our environment and air quality specifically,” states the letter signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury.
