WGA calls for streamlined permitting processes in letter to Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works
In correspondence with the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, WGA delivered bipartisan policy recommendations on permitting issues. The January 28 letter, signed by WGA Executive Director Jack Waldorf, urged Congress to improve and streamline permitting processes while providing meaningful public input and promoting a safe and healthy environment. “Creating a robust federal permitting framework that is accommodating of the diverse natural and political landscape of the West is essential for the success of the region as a whole,” reads the letter.
