The Western Governors' Association is pleased to announce the hiring of Kevin Moss as a Policy Associate.
In addition to supporting the significant policy work being done by WGA in areas such as forestry and rangeland management, species conservation and invasive species, Kevin's policy portfolio includes rural connectivity, land designations and exchanges, and national parks.
“The addition of Kevin to WGA’s policy team will significantly increase our capacity to serve Western Governors,” said Jim Ogsbury, WGA Executive Director. “He has a great attitude and skill set, and we’re delighted that he’s contributing his prodigious talents to the Association.”
Kevin, who earned a B.A. in Environmental Science from Colorado College, joins the policy team after previously serving as a WGA Policy Fellow.
Prior to WGA, the Washington, D.C. native completed a year-long term with the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership (SNAP). As a SNAP member, Kevin worked for the Tuolumne River Trust in Sonora, CA, leading forest fire recovery projects and teaching watershed education programs. Kevin has also worked in outdoor education, leading extended wilderness trips in Colorado, Utah and West Virginia.
