Western Governors’ Foundation relaunched at WGA 2019 Annual Meeting

The Western Governors’ Foundation was relaunched with a new focus at the WGA 2019 Annual Meeting in Colorado.

The goal of the reimagined Foundation, under the direction of its newly elected Board of Directors, is to leverage Western Governors’ influence to raise and deploy resources that collectively impact issues of regional importance.

At the Annual Meeting, WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury announced the members elected to serve on the Board, including: former South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard, Montana Gov. Steve Bullock, Hawai’i Gov. David Ige, former Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead, former Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter, and former Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval.

In the coming months, the Foundation will focus on philanthropic opportunities to improve lives across the West. In the meantime, check out the video below on the reinvigorated vision for the Foundation.
