WATCH WGA’s latest webinar, ‘Disability-Inclusive Policy in COVID-19 Economic Recovery’ 

Registration is open for the Western Governors' Association webinar, Disability-Inclusive Policy in COVID-19 Economic Recovery, on Thursday, Oct. 14.

The webinar examined the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on employment for people with disabilities and strategies for an inclusive recovery. Panelists shared policies and best practices that were generated through a year-long state policy collaborative organized by the State Exchange on Employment and Disability.

Participants include: Bobby Silverstein, Principal, Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville LLC; Nadia Mossburg, Senior Policy Advisor, US Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy; Chanda Hermanson, Disability Employment and Transitions Division Administrator, Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services; Susan Weidenbach, State Manager for Workforce Development and Special Projects, Kansas Department of Commerce; and Elizabeth Gordon, Executive Director, Washington Governor’s Committee on Disability Issues & Employment.
