The west has undergone extraordinary growth in recent years, presenting challenges and opportunities for western communities. The annual 2023 Western Prosperity Roundtable, hosted in Bozeman by Governor Greg Gianforte on May 17-18, will convene community members, policymakers, and experts to discuss strategies for strengthening community resources and ensuring smart and sustainable development to effectively manage the growing West.
Panels will discuss the interconnected and often compounding resource constraints across human, physical, and financial dimensions and the ways in which to address them.
Topics include: strategies to increase access to affordable housing, the provision of essential services in rural communities, considerations for 2023 Farm Bill reauthorization, and recommendations to improve federal programs and support for these issues.
And check back in with WGA in the coming weeks for speaker announcments and a finalized agenda.
