The new episode of WGA’s Out West podcast is The 2021 Annual Report. The conversation highlights the past year’s policy work of the Western Governors, and how it will continue in the year ahead, on topics such as broadband connectivity, workforce development, COVID-19 response and recovery, cybersecurity, wildfires and species management.
WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury speaks with WGA Senior Policy Advisor Lauren DeNinno about the launch and goals of the Western Prosperity Roundtable, which amplifies the Governors’ advocacy for increased broadband connectivity and data utilization, among many other issues. Ogsbury also interviews Troy Timmons, Director of Federal Relations and Strategic Initiatives, about the Governors’ successful advocacy for cross-boundary collaboration to better manage natural resources and invasive species through the Working Lands Roundtable.
