Western Governors shared several policy positions for the joint hearing, "Out of Control: The Impact of Wildfire on Our Power Sector and the Environment," of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce's Subcommittee on Energy. The policy, related to vegetation and wildfire management in utility corridors, included a WGA Resolution (National Forest and Rangeland Management), the Shared Stewardship Memorandum of Understanding executed between WGA and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and outreach to the House Natural Resources Committee.
