The Western Governors’ Association (WGA) appreciates the opportunity to provide testimony to the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works regarding America’s Water Infrastructure Act of 2020 and the Drinking Water Infrastructure Act of 2020. The May 1, 2020 outreach, signed by WGA Executive Director James Ogsbury, cites the WGA Policy Resolution, Water Resource Management in the West, which urges Congress to “pass water resources development legislation on a regular schedule in order to provide states and local governments with certainty in meeting water infrastructure needs."
