Western Governors encourage Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Leader Charles Schumer to expedite Senate consideration of a bill to provide financial and technical support to state, tribal, territorial and local governments to enhance cybersecurity. The State and Local Government Cybersecurity Act of 2019 will promote “intergovernmental relationships and enable states to better prevent, detect and respond” to cyber threats, say WGA Chair North Dakota Gov.
