WGA shares Governors’ policies on cybersecurity and energy infrastructure in advance of Senate hearing

The Western Governors' Association shared its cybersecurity policies with the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources in advance of its Feb. 14, 2019 hearing, Status and Outlook for Cybersecurity Efforts in the Energy Industry.

“Cybersecurity – including of the electric grid and other energy infrastructure – is a top priority of Western Governors,” states the letter signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury.

WGA also submitted WGA Policy Resolution 2019-02, Cybersecurity, WGA Policy Resolution 2018-04, Energy in the West, and the Governors’ Energy Vision for the West to Chairman Lisa Murkowski and Ranking Member Joe Manchin.
