Learn about WGA’s Working Lands Roundtable

The Working Lands Roundtable was launched in 2018 as a vehicle for the ongoing implementation of Western Governors’ Association natural resource-focused initiatives, including policy recommendations emerging from WGA Chair Initiatives.

The Roundtable also examines regional cross-cutting resource management issues and brings together a broad coalition of stakeholders to identify emerging threats to the viability of western working landscapes.

In an effort to highlight the Roundtable's work with a wider audience, WGA has created a special resource that reports on its extensive activity in 2019, including two workshops and work on a Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to pursue collaborative projects regarding wildfire response, vegetation management and invasive annual grasses.
