The Western Governors’ Association shared policy addressing broadband deployment with the House Subcommittee on Commodity Exchanges, Energy, and Credit in advance of its July 11, 2019 hearing on “Building Opportunity in Rural America through Affordable, Reliable and High-Speed Broadband.” The outreach to Chairman David Scott and Ranking Member Austin Scott included the WGA policy resolutions: Health Care in Western States; Workforce Development in the Western United States; and Western Agriculture.
