LETTER: WGA shares policy on apprenticeships in advance of House hearing

The Western Governors’ Association shared its policy on apprenticeships in advance of the House Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Investment’s Nov. 20 hearing, “Examining the Policies and Priorities of the Labor Department’s Apprenticeship Program.” The Nov. 18, 2019 outreach, signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury, includes WGA’s comments to the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration regarding the establishment of an industry-recognized apprenticeship system, as well as WGA Policy Resolution 2018-13, Workforce Development in the Western United States.
