The Western Governors’ Association shared policy positions for a hearing of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry on agriculture policy and implementation of provisions included in the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018. The policy in the Oct. 15, 2019 outreach signed by WGA Executive Director Jim Ogsbury included previous correspondence to House and Senate committees, as well as with USDA Under Secretary for Natural Resources and Environment Jim Hubbard on the implementation of 2018 Farm Bill provisions affecting the U.S. Forest Service.
