LETTER: Western Governors urge revision to Council on Environmental Quality regulations for NEPA

The Western Governors’ Association urges revisions to Council on Environmental Quality regulations to make administration of the National Environmental Policy Act more efficient, timely and effective. The Aug. 3, 2018 letter to Associate Director for the National Environmental Policy Act Ted Boling asserts “Western Governors support the creation of more efficient infrastructure permitting and environmental review processes without shortening timelines for state input and consultation, or compromising natural resource, wildlife, environmental, or cultural values.” Read, download the letter.
