LETTER: Western Governors encouraged by DOI invasive species strategic plan’s focus on collaboration, rapid response

Western Governors are encouraged by the draft invasive species strategic plan of the Department of the Interior for its focus on state-federal collaboration, prevention, early
detection and rapid response, and invasive species data management. In addition to offering comments on specific aspects of the plan, the outreach of Oct. 8 signed by WGA Chair Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and Vice Chair Idaho Gov. Brad Little also called attention to the WGA Policy Resolution, Strengthening the State Federal Relationship, and the Toolkit for Invasive Annual Grass Management recently published by WGA.
