Register now: WGA 2019 Annual Meeting in Vail, Colorado

Registration is now open for the Western Governors’ Association 2019 Annual Meeting in Vail, Colorado. The meeting will take place June 10-12 at the Hotel Talisa.

WGA Chair, Hawaii Gov. David Ige, will lead his fellow Western Governors in public roundtable discussions about the critical issues affecting the region, including expansion of rural broadband, utilizing data in water management, and policy priorities of recently elected governors. The meeting will include a session highlighting the past year’s work of the Western Governors’ Biosecurity and Invasive Species Initiative launched by Gov. Ige.

In addition, a number of high-profile guests will speak and participate in public conversations with the Governors, including:

Craig Johnson: The best-selling author, whose fictional Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire starred in a long-running A&E TV series, will speak on day one. His latest Longmire book is The Depth of Winter.

Eric Boechler: The Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will share the harrowing story of the growth of illicit fentanyl exports from China to Canada and the human cost it is exacting.
