The Western Governors’ Association hosted the webinar, Innovative Policy for Lifelong Learning, on April 5, 2018 as part of a series for the Western Governors’ Workforce Development Initiative.
Short-term education and training programs for working adults provide skills and credentials that lead to careers in high-paying fields such as advanced manufacturing and health care. This webinar discussed emerging best practices in post-secondary education and highlighted how adult education programs could be strengthened and expanded through pending federal policies and legislation, including reauthorization of the Higher Education Act.
