Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, like many Western Governors, is a great storyteller. So perhaps it's no surprise that he assembled the many stories of his life into the memoir "The Opposite of Woe: My Life in Beer and Politics."
The book from Penguin Press, which goes on sale May 24, traces the Governor's early years in Philadelphia, a winding educational road through Wesleyan University, his first job as a geologist in Denver, and how the layoff from that position ultimately led him to politics.
