LETTER: Governors share grazing policy positions in advance of House Subcommittee hearing  

The Western Governors' Association sent a letter to the House Committee on Natural Resources Subcommittee on Federal Lands in advance of the Subcommittee’s July 12, 2018 oversight hearing, “The Essential Role of Livestock Grazing on Federal Lands and its Importance to Rural America.” In particular, WGA urged Chairman Tom McClintock and Ranking Member Colleen Hanabusa to consider WGA Policy Resolution 2018-02, Public Lands Grazing, and the Western Governors’ National Forest and Rangeland Management Initiative July 2017 Special Report.
