Western Governors shared their recommendations to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service regarding the proposed revisions to the Regulations for Interagency Cooperation; Listing Species and Designating Critical Habitat; and Prohibitions to threatened Wildlife and Plants. The comments, submitted on Sept. 24, 2018 to Bridget Fahey and Samuel D. Rauch III highlighted the Western Governors’ Species Conservation and Endangered Species Act Initiative, which significantly informed Western Governors’ policy proposals to advance voluntary conservation efforts and improve the efficacy of the Endangered Species Act.
