The Western Governors’ Association will host the next workshop of its Working Lands Roundtable on April 3-4, 2019 in Denver. The workshop will examine at-risk species conservation, broad-scale threats to western working landscapes and cross-boundary coordination in resource management and planning.
Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead urged attendees to “make a difference” on land management and invasive species policy at the inaugural event of the WGA Working Lands Roundtable. The event gathered leaders in land management and invasive species to examine crosscutting policy issues on Oct. 11-12, 2018 in Cheyenne.
The launch event of the Working Lands Roundtable in March of 2018, moderated by John Freemuth of the Andrus Center for Public Policy, highlighted policy strategies for management of landscape-scale invasive species, wildlife, and forest and rangeland.
